I chose the spoken word piece "Postcards" by Sarah Kay. Literally I believe Kay speaks about some sort of long distance relationship. However, I believe this video truly speaks about the importance communication. This video is important to me because with technology and everyone's own crazy lives/schedules, people can rarely communicate in a raw sense. Then when we do communicate, it is often difficult to find the right words to accurately describe how we feel. I think that Kay's words are very relevant to my life and the way I feel.
