Kanye West New Slaves- Kanye here is speaking out about the prevalent racism in modern society he uses examples of people in convenient stores to support his case, this could have an impact on a minority community by have them be more conscious and and aware of modern racism which could possibly lead to movements of protest for justice.

Jay-z 99 Problems - Jay-z is also talking about the prevalent racism in modern society although he uses an example of himself being pulled over by a police officer for simply going 1 mph over the speed limit. These words could also make people more aware of the racism in modern society and call for justice among the police system.

Lauryn Hill Black Rage- Lauryn Hill is speaking about the poor nature of the ghetto and how it can be oppressing to people who are trying to make something better of their lives. This could have an impact on a minority community by being a call to have the community as a whole become more proactive in making movements for more education and justice.

Talib Kweli Hell - Talib here speaks on the confusion and flaws in the religous system and how we are all told to love each other by our religion yet we still hate and attack each other. This could have an impact on a minority community by having them start to question their churches and for some possibly make a call for peace.

The Last Poets True Blues - The Last Poets are here reliving their ancestors history as slaves and talking about when they were mistreated they could do nothing but sing the blues. This is important because now their is a just judicial system which annoits punishments for crimes against minorities. So when people here this they and they feal they are mistreated they could feel their government has failed them

Mos Def Mathematics - Mos Def is here talking about how poor the education system is in  minorty communities and how it leads to kids having poor education, which leads to them not being able to obtain supporting jobs, which leads to them committing crime and ending up in jail. This is a call for higher education in minority communities,

Nas I Can - Nas here is being inspirational to minority communities saying that the kids can be what they want to be if they work hard and persevere despite their disadvantage. This could help kids realize that they can do anything if they set their minds to it and also calls for a better education system in minority communities.
